What makes a great public speaker? What are the necessary things to be done to be an effective or great public speaker? Being a public speaker is not just about the capacity To interact and face a huge number of people. It takes more than that- it is about building a character and that will determine how can you be an effective great public speaker. Being a speaker, you will find it enjoyable to be able to speak before the people. Public speaking allows you to build your character because when you are to deliver a public speech, you will want to make it sure that you are doing your research with honesty ; and, of course, thinking about the good outcome of your speech and the goodness of your audience. By doing so, your character is polished, built. In delivering a speech, you can not afford to do pretenses, you can not afford to fool or to trick your audience. However, you a re building a character that enables you to convince them to believe on your point especially if you were able to research and think carefully about the topic you are discussing. It needs to build a character first before you become a great public speaker. Integrity and honor are important catalysts to make people believe in you. Of course, you can get the audience if you are proven to be responsible and reliable. So, therefore, how to become a great speaker depends on how you build your character. For you to show others that you have honor you will want to make sure that you do everything that you can to prove to them that you care about the topic and that you have worked very hard to put everything together. For you to build good character you have to go the distance. This means that you are going to have to learn to think witty and you are also going to have to learn to site your sources. To make your audience believe in you,that you are in honor and integrity, you can show it even in simple ways. By showing them that you have a care for the topic that you are to discuss and that you have badly worked for it before you face the listening public. That just implies that whatever topic you may discuss, you can not simply go to research and copy the topic that you can find- it must be original in nature. Though you can take a quote, it must be properly recognized. You need to learn and uphold the ethical standards of originality and by that, you can gain respect from the listening public. Being a person of character brings a lot of benefits to you and that includes of becoming a great public speaker. Character plays a very vital role in order for you to get the hearts and the minds of your audience. Great individuals have great characters and that's the reason why they're voices are really recognized by their listeners. Again, what makes a great public speaker? The answer is, it is up to you how you develop your character because this determines how great as a speaker you are. What are the necessary things to be done to become a great public speaker?
