Why Visit Scottsdale, AZ and When

There are a lot of things in Scottsdale, AZ which draw large numbers of tourists to the area every year.
The weather is one of the most well-known attractions. With more than 300 sunny days during the year, it's no wonder that Scottsdale has earned the nickname "Sun Valley." The culture and the atmosphere is also a popular draw. Indian festivals, southwestern food, the Rawhide Western Town, the Cowboy College and the Parada del Sol Rodeo all combine to maintain Scottsdale's label as the "West's most western town."
Shoppers enjoy walking through shops on the twisting streets of the Old Town or visiting national chain stores at the Fashion Square Mall and golfers could spend months visiting the fifty or golf courses in Scottsdale.
Families can enjoy the parks, sports fields and fishing lakes on the Indian Wash Greenbelt or spend the day meeting wild animals at the Out of Africa Wildlife Park. Or a trip to the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park is also a great activity for groups with children.
Camelback Mountain, the Lower Salt River and the Sonoran Desert provide ample opportunities for biking, hiking, rock climbing and rafting as well. Photographers will also enjoy shooting pictures of red sandstone formations, desert flowers and huge saguaro cacti.
With so many attractions in Scottsdale, it has become an internationally renowned tourist spot and dozens of hotels and resorts have naturally been built to accommodate the visitors. A surprising number of these establishments offer suites in addition to basic hotel rooms. Before you book one or more Scottsdale Suites, there are a couple things you ought to know.
First of all, depending on the hotel you choose, these suites can range anywhere from 600 - 3,000 square feet in size. The price range also varies from place to place, but another factor that influences daily rates is actually the time of year you choose to visit. For example, the hottest months of the year (June-September) are also the cheapest. But, from January to April, when northern regions are affected by the cold and snow of winter, larger crowds move south to enjoy warmer weather. With the rise in demand during the winter, rooms become more expensive.
So, if you want to see all the attractions that Scottsdale has to offer and you want to stay in one, two, three or four-bedroom suites for a good price, I would recommend visiting the area during the months of June, July, August or September. Even though it shouldn't be difficult, I would also recommend booking a hotel with one or more pools where you can cool off.
