The Hawaii State offers a different kind of vacation. The islands are so diverse and between the native Hawaiians and all of the other people that live and vacation there, the people you will meet are different as well. The landscape is incredible and weather is temperate 365 days a year.
The history of Hawaii State
Hawaii entered the modern world as a native kingdom which remained in power throughout most of the 1800's. This is when the expansion of the sugar industry increased dramatically. The trade agreements that were signed between the U.S and Hawaii meant increasing U.S. business and political involvement. It also paved the way for Hawaii to become a territory and finally a state in 1959.
The weather of Hawaii State
The temperature is temperate and the rain comes and goes, depending on the area. Some parts of Hawaii receive very little rain and others have been documented as the wettest places on Earth, with more than 500 inches of rain fall per year. Flowers and nursery products are the chief export, but Hawaii also grows coffee beans, bananas, and macadamia nuts. The highest peak is Mauna Koa at 13,796 feet, which makes it the largest volcanic mountain in the world.
Things to Do in Hawaii State
People are amazed at what they find to do in Hawaii once they start doing the research and really start looking around the internet. Whale watching is one of the most popular activities, as well as dolphin encounters and snorkeling with the colorful fish that swim in the coral reefs.
There are also a few particular points of interest that are famous in the state of Hawaii, including the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, National Historic Park, Polynesian Cultural Center, and the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
Scuba diving is also very popular in the state of Hawaii, as there are so many beautiful views under the surface of the Pacific Ocean. Hawaii's Kohala Coast offers some of the best diving in all the Hawaiian Islands, and the water along the coast is clear year round and often exceeds 100-foot visibility.
Regardless of what particular adventures you go on, you are sure to have a wonderful time, and there is nothing but beauty and enjoyment in Hawaii. If you think about all of the different activities that you can enjoy in the Hawaii state, it's incredible. There are water sports, museums, guided tours, horse back riding, beaches, shopping, helicopter tours, shows and much, much more.
