This is not a totally false affirmation as it is better for you to be a good swimmer if you want to go for scuba diving lessons. However, not all divers are also great swimmers as this activity allows the body to move easy under water. Make sure you know everything there is to be know about the sport if you are undecided on whether you should start practicing scuba diving or not.
