Internet users would like to know if a product is good, bad or ok before they spend money on it. You should always be honest in your reviews because if you are simply writing anything you can to make money, your visitors will catch on quickly. You are giving them your word that this product is good or bad and if they get a product that does not do what you claim, they will be as mad at you as they are with the product and the company. Web 2.0: You can begin marketing affiliate programs using web 2.0 techniques. You should also study up on the new websites that are created constantly as most of them will have a way that you can use them in your marketing of affiliate programs. Viral Video: Depending on what your website is about and the niche that it is exploiting, you may be able to create some great viral videos for websites such as Youtube and Dailymotion. These websites receive millions of viewers who are trying to view the next big thing in videos and if you create a great branded video that gets their attention, that can mean major traffic for your affiliate sites and links. Squidoo and Hubpages: These two websites allow you to create pages of your own based on just about anything. One great way to use them is to create extremely detailed pages or "lenses" for Squidoo that involves one topic, niche or product. The better the information, the more visitors to those pages you will receive. They also provide many areas that you can make money using Adsense, Amazon, Ebay and of course your own advertising and affiliate links that you would like to add. Email and Lists: You should always have a place on your website that offers something to your guests. When they sign up, you will have a list of prospective buyers and you should check back with them through the use of newsletters to remind them that your site is still there. These visitors could become long time customers if they love the information your website can offer to them. With the millions of spam that are sent to email inboxes everyday, this is one of the few ways you will be able to market through email. The list of ways to apply marketing affiliate programs is long and you will eventually find what works best for you and your affiliate sites. Don't forget to add lots of unique content that will give you a great spot in search engines as well as supply your visitors will great information.
