Yesterday, I was at Bridgestone Armstrong Pty Ltd, conducting a workshop on "Nature and Existence, Realizing the Link between Human Mind and Its Surroundings (Unconscious Mind)". This was actually the last training session for this group in that company. I was working on this group for more than a year. They are truly remarkable people; hard working and always on the alert in applying the insights and knowledge from my training program, in their professional as well as family life. I admire these people greatly; it is my sincere hope that they continue the practice, and eventually achieve their company goals and of course their personal goals. In today's workshop, I ran through briefly all the workshops and training sessions we had gone through together over more than a year. We had good laughs over some unforgettable practical sessions, and noted the sessions that were thought provoking. Then, I started on the topic relating to unconscious mind. The unconscious mind is very much a part of us and the whole of Nature, but we are just not conscious of it. And most importantly, it is the part of our mind that holds the key to our Existence! Everything in this universe has its purpose; nothing exists for the sake of existing. The mango seed for an example; its purpose is to grow into a mango tree and accordingly bear mango fruits. Similarly, a tiger cub grows up and becomes a tiger. Now, can you imagine the chaos that can take place if the mango seed decides to become a durian tree half way through the growing process; or the tiger cub decides to become an elephant?! My imagination sound silly, don't they? However, that is what is happening to human beings these days; they forget that they have a purpose why they exist on this planet. Human beings have forgotten to listen to their inner voice, the voice that guides and moulds them. Many are too busy chasing after material wealth. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong in setting goals to achieve material wealth, but one has to be careful when greed comes in. What is greed? Greed is when you start desiring what rightfully belongs to another. Along the way, greed tempts one into breaking Nature's Laws by being untruthful, deceitful, manipulative, and using others to achieve the material wealth that the person desires. They slowly forget the basic values of life mainly humbleness, forgiveness, and unconditional love. By getting involved in negative vices, they silence the voice of their heart, and fall into negative cycle of Law of Cause and Effect, that will seem to be forever. Long ago, a participant of mine wished that it would be easier if we had a manual that told us what we ought to do and that manual should especially come with us when we were born. After we all had a nice laugh over that wish, I announced that the manual had always been provided to all of us; and that is what we call the voice of the spiritual heart! Most people spend so much of time and money learning all different languages in the world, but fail to learn the most important language of all the languages, the language of the heart! Most are just not aware of it and some have just become oblivious of it. My participants listened attentively. I advised them to learn the language of their heart and discover the purpose of their existence. The first step in learning the language of the spiritual heart is to practice The Seven Basic Laws of Nature, truthfully and sincerely. As you do that, the heart will reveal the following steps which would relate much to achieving your present goals in life. It is all a great puzzle that would eventually fit together beautifully and reveal to you the big picture as a whole, your ultimate purpose. I concluded, "That is how it works my friends. It all depends on us in taking the first step!"
